The 5th Asian Oceanian Nuclear Medicine Academic Forum (AONMAF)
AONMAF is hosted by AOSNM, formerly known as the Asian Nuclear Medicine Academic Forum (ANMAF). AONMAF has been successfully held for four consecutive years since 2015. During the fifth AONMAF next year, two major events will be held concurrently – Rising Nuclear Medicine Professional Challenge and Cognitive Impairment Symposium. In addition, sessions on basic science and clinical research of nuclear medicine, poster presentations are scheduled to take place, with corporate booths set up onsite.
The 20th Annual Meeting of Chinese Congress of Nuclear Cardiology & 2019 Annual Meeting of Chinese Nuclear Society of Nuclear Medicine
The 20th Annual Meeting of Chinese Congress of Nuclear Cardiology is hosted by the Chinese Nuclear Society of Nuclear Medicine. A group of senior experts in the field of cardiovascular and nuclear medicine will deliver lectures and speeches. At the same time, a number of concurrent sessions will be held with topics such as SPEECT, PET, radiopharmaceuticals, and 131I treatment of hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer.
The 2019 Editorial Board Meeting of Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging
The 9th Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging was founded in 2015. In 2019, it is time for the Board’s leadership transition. The 9th Editorial Board will summarize their work over the past four years and discuss the further development of the Journal with the new Editorial Board.
The 6th Rising Nuclear Medicine Professional Challenge
The Rising NM Professional Challenge is an annual academic competition for up and coming physicians and professionals under the age of 45 from Asia-Oceania. The aim is to promote exchanges among young scholars and contribute to the development of nuclear medicine in Asia-Oceania. Launched in Beijing, China in October 2014, the Challenge has been successfully held for five consecutive years. The 6th edition is expected to enroll outstanding candidates from more than 10 countries and regions in Asia-Oceania.
The 4th Cognitive Impairment Symposium
The 1st Cognitive Impairment Symposium was held in Shanghai, China in May 2016. The Symposium next year will include comprehensive academic exchanges such as special lectures and clinical reports.
The 6th Sino-Japanese Joint Symposium on Nuclear Medicine
The Sino-Japanese Joint Symposium on Nuclear Medicine is hosted by the Sino-Japanese Association for Nuclear Medicine Intercommunion. Since its establishment in Shanghai in December 2013, the Association has held several working meetings and academic exchange sessions. During the 6th Symposium, Chinese and Japanese nuclear medicine experts will get together, giving presentations on their latest research findings.
The 9th Annual Meeting of the Asian Society of Nuclear Medicine Technology (ASNMT)
This annual meeting is hosted by the Asian Society of Nuclear Medicine Technology. A number of senior technologists will be invited to attend the meeting and give presentations in order to cultivate talent and further promote exchanges among nuclear medicine technologists in Asia.
AOCNMB 2019 Emblem:
As an auspicious sign symbolizing the totem and national spirit of the Chinese people, the culture and legends of the dragon are one of the most representative traditional cultures of China and other East Asian nations. Behind the culture of the dragon lies the philosophy of “unity of heaven and mankind” valued by the Chinese nation. The congress emblem that blended the dragon with medicine, the earth and atomic structure carries the good wishes that the 13th AOCNMB will be held successfully with great support and active participation of nuclear medicine experts and academics from all over the world.
